GREEN IT CHARITABLE SOCIETY is a non-governmental organization that aims at maximizing the social impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) through a holistic approach.

OBJECTIVES

* Maximize the social impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based on principles of Social Entrepreneurship, Social Equality and Ecological sustainability of Cyberspace and the Society.

* Encourage ICT based entrepreneurship initiatives for local development and catalyze the generation of skilled employment by providing a nurturing and enabling environment and to offer supporting facilities in research, design, development, training and physical infrastructure.

* Provide adequate opportunity to Scientists, Academia, ICT Professionals and ICT enthusiasts for promoting the scientific and technological excellence in the field of ICT and related areas for the sustainable development of the society.

* Promote major initiatives to enhance the employability of ICT graduates and to impart and skills as required by the industry for matching of dynamic job requirements.
